Maya Alrahabi founded Al-Rahba Publishing in 2012. The house translates major works of international feminist thought into Arabic and publishes Arab scholarship on women’s issues.
Its translations include Simone de Beauvoir’s The Second Sex, Betty Friedan’s The Feminine Mystique, Germaine Greer’s The Female Eunuch and Mary Wollstonecraft’s A Vindication of the Rights of Woman.
